Only you choose what kind of sauna you will use. You may enjoy an infrared sauna that relies solely on the way you prepare yourself for the experience. And it doesn't matter what kind of sauna you will select. The safety and pleasure you will find is what makes that first bathing unique. However, you have to do it right. And for this you you'll need to keep in mind a few suggestions. Before going to the sauna consider the following.
1. Alcohol free. Never prepare yourself for a bath after you've had a little bit too much to drink. You should use sauna when you are not consuming any type of alcohol, medications or tranquilizers.
2. No metal. You should wear no metal objects when you are in sauna. Remember, you'll need to remove all your jewelries: rings, earrings, bracelets, even watches.
3. Free vision. People who wear glasses and contact lenses have to enter the sauna without the lenses on. Put your glasses on your nose and go right in.
4. Keeping it clean. Bathing in a sauna is an important and very useful process. It is not just bathing. This is a therapeutic method that helps you to keep your body relaxed and healthy. That's why, before entering your sauna, you will need to shower or take a real bath. And after you’re all dried up, you can begin your session.
5. Hydration. Using steam or infrared sauna you will sweat, and in this way you'll lose body water. That's why you should drink some water before your session. Mineral or carbonized water it's recommended because it takes longer to be processed by the organism.
6. Comfort. Towels will make you feel comfortable and clean. So, don't forget to take them. You will need at least one to use during your bath (to sit on it and to wrap yourself in it if you wish) and another clean towel to dry yourself before you feel ready to go out of the sauna.
7. Privacy and social rules. However, having decided to take a sauna bath in public clubs, you will probably need to follow some rules that the respective club has imposed. And this may be a bathing uniform, the use of different sauna rooms for men and women and so on. Make sure you are aware of all rules beforehand. If you are planning to bathe at home, you are free to ear and act as you wish.
