As for the Tyrolean sauna, it is considered a dry heat form of thermotherapy. This sauna consists of a wood-lined cabin maintained at 65 degrees Centigrade (80-100 degrees Fahrenheit) with 15 percent humidity. Modeled after the traditional European wooden room, the cabin emits a refreshing fir scent. Normally, a 15-minute Tyrolean sauna is followed by an invigorating ice shower. Visitors may also cool off in the spray of a mineral rich waterfall or a stroll through an ice grotto.

Precautions
Not all people can visit Tyrolean spas and similar heat treatments. Pregnant women, individuals with heart or respiratory problems, patients with diabetes or infection, individuals with fever, patients under treatment and other persons without the approval of their physicians can't visit saunas.

Before visiting sauna you need drink water and don't forget to do this after sauna. It is important as saunas can cause dehydration. You should avoid alcohol and if it possible facials or waxing because skin may be tender following heat treatments.
